Schedule |
The Review Board is an informal panel that
will meet and correspond as necessary to fulfill its duties. |
| Charge |
- Review and assess the contents of the Florida Heritage Collection
with reference to the Collection's own stated criteria of coverage
and scope and with reference to standard bibliographies of Florida
history and culture:
The Review Board should work to ensure that the Collection adequately
covers the time periods, geographical areas, and themes in Florida
history that were originally established as a project goal.
It should identify gaps in coverage and make selectors aware of
these gaps so that they can be filled by future choices of material.
- Identify bibliographies on Florida that can be helpful in selecting
materials.
Publish a list of these bibliographies on the SUS DSPC web site
and linked from the Florida Heritage Collection web page (currently
under design).
- Provide advice and coordination in the selection of manuscript
collections on Florida history as necessary or when requested.

The Review Board reports its progress by

to the SUS DSPC"s listserv at SUSDigit-L@lists.ufl.edu.
