Special Collections Subcommittee

Subcommittee Charge:

  • Consider establishing a template to describe the processed special collections within the SULC
  • Create a checklist of processed vs. unprocessed collections within the SULC
  • Create a list of "hidden" special collections within the SULC and establish state-wide priorities for processing
  • Create a rationale/statement of purpose to address the need for additional assistance in processing the unprocessed collections

    Charge:
    At its November 1, 2007 teleconference, the medical school deans, university presidents, and other representatives met for a second time to continue their discussion of potential collaborative efficiencies that might be explored in State University System (SUS) medical schools. The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to interested parties with regard to one area of the group’s exploration: the sharing of library materials.
